In its 29th year in uptown Somerset the Fire and Ice Festival is battling some challenges from the weather.
Organizers said on Friday, the first day of the festival, fireworks had to be cancelled. On Saturday with high winds and snow falling, organizers said the festival is made for this weather.

HARRISBURG, Pa (WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry announced Saturday that it will begin issuing Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) benefits this week following the new extension of federal CARES Act funds.
