Teens arrested on homicide, carjacking, armed robbery charges

FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WEYI) — Two young people wanted for questioning in a homicide case were arrested and charged after police found them hiding in the woods. Flint Township police in Michigan said officers tracked down the suspects —Jacob Blain and Willow Reynolds — on May 9. They were behind a business. According to court records, the death being investigated happened May 2. After questioning, the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office charged the pair with homicide, armed robbery, and carjacking. 9/11 artifacts escorted from Flight 93 to Port Matilda American Legion

Artifacts from the 9/11 terrorist attacks made their way through our area Tuesday as they were being escorted by the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club. After making stops at the Pentagon and Ground Zero, the artifacts were taken to the Flight 93 National Memorial in Somerset County, where they were temporarily put on display during a brief ceremony. Some of the artifacts included a helmet worn by a Port Authority officer, metal signs from the World Trade Center and a cross that was created from the rubble. Read More...

CO2 supply agreement finalized with Clearfield County company

CLEARFIELD - Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. announced Thursday that it has entered into an agreement with Pennsylvania Grain Processing, LLC for the supply of carbon dioxide from PGP’s Clearfield grain processing plant. CCPI, a subsidiary of Matheson Tri-Gas, will be building a high capacity liquid CO2 and dry ice manufacturing facility adjacent to the PGP plant in Clearfield.
