Cambria County property sold; will become CAT component rebuild center

EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — A former manufacturing and repair site for windmill blades will serve a new purpose. In February 2018, CK Capitol LLC, also known as Cleveland Brothers, bought the property from Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Incorporated. According to the company's president and CEO, Jay Cleveland Jr., it will use the land for a CAT component rebuild center. Coroner IDs woman found in Westmoreland County pond

Westmoreland County, PA — Authorities in Westmoreland County have identified the woman whose body was found in a local pond earlier this month. The county coroner's office says 34-year-old Kele Diane Townsend was found on the afternoon of Nov. 6th, in the area of Broadview Road in New Stanton. Investigators say they used medical and dental records, tattoos and jewelry in order to identify her. Officials say Townsend's cause and manner of death have not yet been determined. Read More...

Teen firefighter charged for starting multiple brush fires in Huntingdon Co.

Huntingdon Co., PA (WJAC) — Officials with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources' Bureau of Forestry have filed charges against a Huntingdon County teenager after he was accused of setting a series of brush fires earlier this year. Authorities say Adam Ewing, 18, of Three Springs, is a member of the Three Springs Volunteer Fire Company. Investigators say Ewing is alleged to have started a series of fires in the county in February and March, including one that injured three volunteer firefighters. Read More...
