PA Military Museum commemorates Pearl Harbor attack

BOALSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — "A date which will live in infamy." Those famous words from President Franklin D. Roosevelt continue to echo as we remember the attack on Pearl Harbor, decades later. The Pennsylvania Military Museum wants to keep it that way. 81 years ago, Wednesday, the naval and air forces of the Japanese Empire launched a surprise attack on the U.S. base in Pearl Harbor. Penn State, football coach James Franklin agree to 10-year contract extension

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WJAC) — Penn State’s James Franklin has agreed to the terms of a new 10-year contract to remain as the head football coach of the Nittany Lions through 2031. The terms were approved by the Subcommittee on Compensation of the Penn State Board of Trustees Tuesday. The new contract increases his pay from $5.5 million this year to $7 million per year, plus an annual $500,000 retention bonus at the end of each calendar year and other performance bonuses.
