Woman in custody following shooting at DA's law office in Cameron County

UPDATE | Cameron County, PA (WJAC) — State police have released some new details about Wednesday's shooting at the district attorney's law office in Emporium. Troopers say the shooting occurred around 3 p.m. when an unidentified female suspect shot an unidentified victim. Police say the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and the shooter was taken into custody after fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Troopers say the circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation but authorities believe that it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. Read More...

'An ambush!' Owners react to State College borough's plan to demolish iconic bar

State College, PA (WJAC) — It’s been one week since the owners of a popular State College bar were shocked to find out the borough is considering demolishing their bar to make way for a parking lot. Jay Horgas and Ray Rockey have been co-owners of the Brewery since the 1990's. They say they are proud to have their place be known as a popular local dive bar. Last Monday, just hours before a borough council meeting, they were informed that the borough is considering eminent domain to take their property. Read More...
