Mark Eaton, shot-blocking king and Jazz legend, dies at 64

NBA shot-blocking king and Utah Jazz legend Mark Eaton has died. He was 64. ESPN reported that Eaton died as a result of a bicycle crash. The 7-foot-4 center twice won the NBA defensive player of the year award. He spent his entire career with the Jazz, led the league in blocks per game four times and his average of 5.6 per contest in 1984-85 remains the highest average since the NBA started officially tracking that statistic. PA Game Commission rescues elk trapped in telephone wire in Cameron County

Cameron County, PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Pennsylvania Game Commission had to free an elk in Cameron County earlier this week after the animal became entangled in a telephone wire. Wildlife officials say they were dispatched on Tuesday, Sept. 26, after receiving a call that the 6x6 bull elk was reportedly wrapped around a pine tree in Sinnemahoning, Cameron County. Roof Garden Tractor Buddies celebrate 20th anniversary

Over a hundred people gathered today to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Roof Garden Tractor Buddies. The Roof Garden Tractor Buddies are a group of square dancing tractors here in Somerset county. They started in 2003 and have since grown in popularity and membership. Bill Blough is a local farmer and founder of the group. He came up with the idea after reading a newspaper article about dancing tractors in Iowa and decided to create something similar here.
