PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt-Penn State football game on Sept. 10 will kick off at noon and be televised by ABC or ESPN, Pitt announced Thursday.
The game will be played at Heinz Field.
The Panthers and Nittany Lions will renew their series for the first time since 2000, when Pitt beat Penn State, 12-0.

Police say an Altoona man fatally stabbed his mother in the neck during an argument.
Altoona police provided new details Thursday surrounding the murder of 61-year-old Maureen Mazenko.
Police say they were called to the 200 block of E. Maple Avenue where they found Mazenko dead in the living room of the residence.
Police say Joshua Leyo lived there with his mother.
